Converting PDF Document to Word - Reasons

There are many people who use the Portable Document Format, while there are many others who prefer the Word format. However, the ones using the PDF file format, might feel the need to convert PDF to word many a time. The reasons why this is required so much are:

  • The foremost reason of converting a PDF document to the word format is that the former is non-editable. To make it editable, it has to be converted to word or similar format that can be edited.

  • Another reason why the conversion of PDF is needed, is that sometimes it is difficult to extract data and images from a PDF. This function, however, is quite possible and easy in the word format.

  • The word file can be checked for errors of grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and more, whereas the PDF once created cannot be checked for any of these elements.

  • Sometimes, a PDF is password-protected, which makes it difficult for the recipient to open or view it. This is not the case with a word file, and it can be easily opened by the receiver.

  • The word format is supported by all the operating systems, and there is no need of a separate software or hardware to view these files. Conversely, you need a different application to open a PDF document.

Hence, the need of an efficient PDF to word converter is evident, if you want to do capable conversions of PDF documents.
